John McCain wins the first debate! As I said before,
Obama is not a great debater. I do not see why McCain played so much politics the week leading to this debate. McCain was able to control the debate an suck
Obama in to his stronger area of topics.
Obama agreed with McCain too much, as if he were in a trance. This is where I disagree with America because I can
acknowledge when a candidate that I disagree with dose well. This debate is filled with favorable campaign ads for McCain.
Obama should have hammered McCain on the economy, support for Veterans, boarder security and much more. McCain was successful on hammering his view on
Obama's tax policy and command of foreign policy. I would feel dirty if I did not say that I believe that John McCain would be bad for the country, but I also must say again he did a great job.
Obama had an endless arsenal with the last 8 years of Republican rule, the war, scandal and the economy, but did not pull the trigger. I must also say that
Obama's performance was more cerebral and may resonate more in days to come and benefit him later. Unfortunately they both came off like politicians, but one looks much more believable and I will leave it there. Now get ready for the spin on both sides.

Win? McCain looked and came off as a sore sport, as if he had already lost, during the entire debate.
He did well when he was doing the name dropping but not being able to look at your opponent, in my opinion, is not presidential. With his foreign policy experience anything less than a blowout was a loss for McCain.
Why Mc Cain Win?
McCain lost and you know it.

People ..... Obama had too much ammo (The Bush administration, lied into war, Gas prices, Privacy violation, corruption and the economy) and did not use it. He took it easy on McCain. He needed to link McCain to the Republican party and all of those problems and attack. With all of those problems McCain came out smelling like a rose. Obama will have to overcome the Bradley Effect, voter suppression and the stolen election to win the presidency. Being timid will not cut it. Americans do not like soft. This was a McCain win and unless Obama can attack on the facts it will be a McCain will over all.
I wouldn't look at Obama either let alone pee on him if he were on fire.
He won, although the first 3rd of the debate it was looking like it would come out the other way. Obama sniffing and smirking and snorting and clenching his jaw and interrupting.... was priceless.
Poor little Messiah, he got wupped.
