What the hell is going on here ? This woman is insane. I couldn't image hacking off a baby's arms. What in the hell was she thinking ? This is a very sad story. The poor little baby who looks for its mother for love and protection and only got mutilated. If some how you are not familiar with the story click the photo below at your own risk. Can anyone explain how this can happen ?

Better doesn't mean 'well', unfortunately, when it comes to mental illness. It doesn't go away, you just learn to cope and function in society as best you can. Apparently, she was neither coping nor functioning.
That poor baby, along with the poor babies of other mothers suffering from illness like hers. I feel so sorry for all of them.
This society should take more notice to Post partum depression and its symptoms. It is REAL...the chemical hormones released after birth alter the minds of many women. I am one of them! I never hurt my children, but I immediately called a friend for help and later was treated by a physician. Maybe I will write a grant or something to start a program to help post-partum women just to get and maintain a gauge on their mental state of mind.
